Fruits Basket is the original anime adaptation of the manga series, while Fruits Basket 1st Season is the first season of the 2019 reboot. The original Fruits Basket anime aired in 2001 and only covered a portion of the manga's story, while the 2019 reboot follows the entire manga series. The 2019 version also features updated animation and a more faithful adaptation of the source material, providing a more comprehensive and in-depth portrayal of the characters and their stories. **

The main difference between Fruits Basket 2019 and Fruits Basket 2001 is the animation style and production quality. The 2019 version has updated artwork and animation, giving it a more modern and polished look. Additionally, the 2019 version follows the original manga more closely, including storylines and character development that were not present in the 2001 version. Overall, the 2019 version provides a more faithful adaptation of the original manga and a more visually appealing viewing experience. **

I am currently watching the 2019 reboot of Fruits Basket. This version follows the original manga more closely and has updated animation and voice acting. I am enjoying the new adaptation and the way it brings the beloved characters and story to life. **

No, Akito Sohma from Fruits Basket is not a man. Akito is actually a woman who is the head of the Sohma family and holds a position of power over the other members of the zodiac curse. Throughout the series, Akito's character is complex and multi-dimensional, with a troubled past and a manipulative personality. **
